01How does self check-in work?
Before arrival, you receive a secure online-registration link. Once registration is complete, we send your personal access details. You can then check yourself in from 3 pm.
02What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in starts at 3 pm and check-out is by 11 am. Access details are sent on arrival day once online registration is complete.
03Is there a reception desk?
There is no permanently staffed reception. Our team is available by phone, WhatsApp and online if you need help.
04What do I need for online registration?
The registration link arrives about 48 hours before check-in. You need a photo ID, a card guarantee, and the full names and dates of birth of every guest staying.
05When will I receive the access codes?
Personal access details are sent between 11 am and 2 pm on arrival day, provided online registration is complete. The room can be used from 3 pm.
06Can I leave luggage before check-in?
Luggage drop-off is normally possible from 11 am on arrival day by prior arrangement. As the exact process depends on room occupancy, please contact us beforehand.
07Can I store luggage after check-out?
By prior arrangement, luggage can remain in the common area until the evening on departure day. Overnight storage is unavailable; please do not leave valuables.
08Is parking available at the guesthouse?
There is no on-site parking. MuseumsQuartier garage is about 400 m or a 4-minute walk away (clearance 1.90 m), while WIPARK TU Operngasse is about 800 m or a 10-minute walk away (clearance 2.00 m). Gerngross garage is about 500 m or a 6-minute walk away (clearance 2.20 m). Check current rates, payment methods and further vehicle limits directly with the operators. Pension Mozart cannot reserve parking spaces.
09How does a garage daily maximum work?
At the listed garages, the daily maximum is published as the maximum charge for up to 24 consecutive hours from entry. It is therefore not automatically limited to the calendar day from midnight to midnight. If the vehicle remains for more than 24 hours, another charging period begins; exiting and entering again starts a new parking transaction. Special, evening and night rates may work differently. Always check the operator’s current tariff.
10Can I park on the street?
In Vienna’s standard short-stay zone, a parking ticket is required on working days from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 10 pm, with a maximum stay of 2 hours. A ticket is normally not required outside these times, but shopping streets and individually signed areas may have different rules. Always follow the signs on site. Resident-only spaces cannot be used without the appropriate permit. Tickets are available from tobacconists and digitally through parking apps.
11Can I book an airport transfer?
You can request a private transfer directly from TTC. Current prices and availability are shown on the provider’s website; Pension Mozart does not operate the journey.
12How do I reach the guesthouse from the airport by public transport?
